Walking through Port Adelaide i saw this light which looked interesting and the sky was a bit overcast but had potential. I got my camera out and took a few shots and used a higher shutter speed and it made the sky look darker and better. I made it a bit darker in photoshop too

Good idea this one, colours look great together too - just love the glowing lamp. Only thing is, have you experimented with crops with this photo? I think there should be a little less up the top, or more of the pole, to tighten up the composition a little. Thats just me though... anyway, great shot!

It might look better cropped a bit, i don't know if i have the original file any more. I'll have to have a look. I really love how those clouds came out

I love the way the lamp is silhouetted, even though it is daylight out... makes it a very original looking shot. And... it is offset to the side. Any more and it would seem that the sky was more important, so I think this shot was done right.

Nice shot, good color in the light, and a nice backdrop. The only thing i'd like to see differently is the lamp offset to one side or another.
