A collection of diptychs pieced together from my archive of photos. Most of them are snapshots or photos that I didn’t think would work on their own. I used a random sentence generator to pick the titles. I would generate a sentence then pick two words from it that I felt worked well for the photo.

I created a template after creating the first few and was then able to place photos in. Sometimes they had a loose connection and sometimes just looked good together. Each time I would modify the vintage looking effects to make every one of them unique yet still connected.

Hopefully the viewer will be able to take away some kind of abstract meaning from the individual images or perhaps the collection as a whole.

(The "outer poetry" bit was one of the generated word pairs. I liked it and thought it was an appropriate title for the set)
