Artist's Comments

Some people don’t like to give their post-processing ‘secrets’ away, which is fine. More power to them. Personally, I would rather see other people learning from this technique and creating great art; not just keeping it to myself. So with that in mind, here is the main technique I use to post-process my photos.

Oh yeah - i designed it so that you can just read the text in red if you're in a hurry or already know a lot about photoshop and you will still get the jist of it :)

That's very generous of you to share what you know :) Basically, i just play around with the saturation and contrast options in PS and that's it. So thanks for the tip! it's always fun to try new techniques.

I gave it a try and I must say THANK YOU!!

It really brings a lot out, especially things like fine clouds and such. It gave the photo that little extra something I was looking for. A particular quality I can't quite pin down.

You rock!

Here's the photo I gave it a try on-- [link]

I had originally made it a black and white photo and posted that months ago but I saw this tutorial and gave it a try and it just rocks--- YOU RULE!

hehe.
